Emma R. Schubert
Emma R. Schubert, 77, of Tamaroa, passed away at 2:15 a.m., Sunday, March 3, 2013 at her residence.
Emma was a homemaker and had worked at Decca Records and UNI. She went to school and became a CNA and worked at Perry Manor in Pinckneyville.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tamaroa and had been a member of the Legion Auxiliary.
She was born Dec. 31, 1935 at Tamaroa, Ill. the daughter of Raymond and Lela (Taylor) Clampet.
Emma married Frederick M. Schubert on June 27, 1951 at Corthin, Miss and he passed away Feb. 12, 2001.
She is survived by four daughters- Joyce Flaugher and husband Randy of St. Peters, Mo., Judy Hahn and husband Dave of Farmington, Mo., Joan Schubert of Pinckneyville and Jeana Bruns and husband Mike of Tamaroa, two sons- John F. Schubert and wife Michelle of Tamaroa and Jeff M. Schubert and wife Debbie of Scheller, grandchildren- Emily Sifuentes, Michael Sifuentes, Tim Sifuentes, Jamie Flaugher, Tracy Voyles, Miranda Klima, Nick Hilt, Jason Helbig, Angie Helbig, BJ Helbig, Amy Steely, Eric Steely, Matt Steely, Amanda Warden, Tabitha Kellerman, Adam Schubert and Adin Schubert, great grandchildren- Mickenzi Sifuentes, Mikayla Sifuentes, Tara Sifuentes, Xavier Sifuentes, Chloe Voyles, Morgan Voyles, Sierra Klima, Dallas Klima, Carley Klima, Gavin Hilt, Gabriella Hilt, David Helbig, Hayden Helbig, Quinten Helbig, Jaxson Helbig, Baylee Luke, Abbi Luke, Mason Luke, Hunter Steely, Hannah Steely, Landon Steely, Alexia Warden, Laynee Warden, Baby Warden, JD Kellerman and Case Kellerman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers- Lloyd Clampet, Richard Clampet and Raymond Clampet, three sisters- Madge Keller, Nina Rich and Maxine Rohlfs.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tamaroa .
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery at Tamaroa.
Friends may make memorials to the Alzheimers Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
