Only one returned to Pinckneyville High School board

Only one of the three incumbents running for the Pinckneyville Community High School District 101 Board of Education was re-elected. Brian Kellerman will serve another term on the board. He is joined by newcomers Paul Kuberski Jr., Gregory D. Thompson and Lisa Stanton.

Kuberski was the top vote-getter with 655, followed by Thompson at 637, Stanton at 513 and Kellerman at 477.

Greg Bigham received 835 votes to elected him to fill the remainder of the term to which he was appointed upon the death of Don Craig.

Pinckneyville Grade School

Two of the three incumbents running for Pinckneyville Grade School District 50 Board of Education were re-elected. Marilyn Millikin and Keith Hagene will each serve another term.

They will be joined by newcomers Austin Marlow and Kyle Pursell. Marlow was the top vote-getter with 578, followed by Pursell at 594, Millkin at 578 and Hagene at 574.

Incumbent Scott Carney garnered 535 votes. It was a very close race.
