Georgia L. Gutierrez

Georgia L. Gutierrez, 68, of Dowell, passed away at 6:55 p.m., Saturday, April 20, 2013 at her residence.

Georgia was a loving wife and mother. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

She was born Oct. 19, 1944 at West Frankfort, Ill., the daughter of Harold and Beatrice (Daffron) Cantrell.

Georgia married Hector Gutierrez on March 1, 1967 at Laredo, Tex. and he survives.

She is survived by her husband of Dowell, two daughters- Lynn Gutierrez of Terre Haute, Ind. and Jennifer Gutierrez of Dowell.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister- Carol Sones.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Searby Fuenral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Elkville Cemetery at Elkville..
