Salome Lamczyk

Salome 'Marcella' Lamczyk, 85, of Tamaroa, passed away at 2:20 p.m., Sunday, May 12, 2013 at the home of her sister in Nashville, Ill.

Marcella was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church at Todds Mill.

She was born Nov. 25, 1927 at Du Bois, Ill., the daughter of August and Cecelia (Bonk) Lamczyk.

She is survived by one brother - James Lamczyk of Pinckneyville, two sisters - Genevieve Barnowski and Emily Chlebowski, both of Nashville, one nephew, two nieces, many relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother - Edwin Lamczyk.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2013 at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church at Todds Mill with Fr. Bernard C. Goedde Jr. officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m., Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Burial will be in the St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery at Todds Mill, Ill.

Friends may make memorials to Masses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
