Lillian Mae Nausley

Lillian Mae Nausley, 92, of Wichita Falls, Tex., formerly of Du Quoin, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013.

Lillian was born on Sept. 19, 1920 at Du Quoin, Ill., the daughter of Richard Thomas and Minnie (Wingert) McAllister.

She married Bill Nausley on Sept. 19, 1948 and he preceded her in death in 2006.

She had been a resident of Wichita Falls since the 1960's and had worked as a LVN for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She and Bill enjoyed traveling and extensive traveling overseas in Europe and Japan during Bill's military career. She was an avid bowler, having held many offices in different bowling leagues.

She is survived by 10 nieces and nephews - James Nausley (Donna) of Bedford, Tex., Richard McAllister (Linda) of Springfield, Ill., Mike Swayne (Sandra) of Du Quoin, Ill., Andrew Swayne (Kellie) of Du Quoin, Ill., Mary Ann Morris of Du Quoin, Ill., Martha Jane Stalewski (Gary) of Arlington, Tex., Richard Swayne (Heather) of Greenville, Ill., Bruce Swayne (Cindy) of Goldsboro, N.C., Gayle Ortiz (Sam) of Denver, Colo. and Eugenia Zappanti (George) of St. Johns, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters - Margaret Swayne and Martha Emerick and one brother - Eugene McAllister.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin, Ill. with Rev. Scott Baird officiating.

Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
