Dolly June Keller

Dolly June Keller, age 86, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 6:40 a.m. in Red Bud Nursing Home, Red Bud, Ill.

Dolly was born on April 26, 1927 in Pinckneyville, Ill., a daughter to Albert and Esther Craig (McCrary) Lueker. On July 17, 1946, she married Donald E. Keller Sr. in Du Quoin, Ill. and he preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 2005 after 58 years of marriage. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. and had worked as a seamstress at the Garment Factory in Du Quoin and Pinckneyville, Ill. Dolly enjoyed sewing, painting, woodworking and cooking and especially loved taking care of and spending time with her family.

Survivors include three sons, Donald Jr. (Judy) Keller of Pinckneyville, Ill., Robert (Marcia) Keller of Villa Rica, Ga. and Charles "Chuck" Keller of Rushville, Ill.; a daughter, Kathy Keller of Marissa, Ill.; five grandchildren, Jeff (Jill) Keller, Shelly Keller (Rick Ruby), Rob (Anna) Keller, Josh Keller and Andy Keller; two great-grandchildren, Justin Keller and Griffin Keller; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Keller Sr.; two sisters, Marguerite Houghland and Ruth Minton; and a brother, Alexander "Bud" Lueker.

Funeral services will be held at the First Pentecostal Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend J. Mark Harris and Reverend Paul Froese officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday morning at the First Pentecostal Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
