Clarence L. Kreger

Clarence L. Kreger, 75, of Du Bois, passed away at 4:28 a.m., Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the Washington County Hospital in Nashville.

Clarence had worked as a dozer operator at Arch Coal and he was also a farmer. He was of the Protestant faith. Clarence was a member of U.M.W. of A. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and father-in-law.

He was born March 20, 1938 at Perry County, Ill., the son of John C. and Helen (Seibert) Kreger.

He married Bernice Wynn on March 18, 1961 at Sunfield, Ill. and she survives.

He is survived by his wife of Du Bois, three daughters - Brenda Hagan and husband Tom of Chapmanville, W.V., Tammy Yung and husband Bill of Du Bois and Carrie Kreger of Du Bois, three grandchildren - Nicholas Kreger-Hagan, Hannah Yung and Jonathan Yung, all of Du Bois, and one aunt - Florence Seibert of Cape Girardeau, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Ron Carter officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Burial will be in the Tamaroa Cemetery at Tamaroa.

Friends may make memorials to the Tamaroa Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
