Richard Lively
Services for Richard Lively, 83, of Du Quoin, will be held at Tamaroa Cemetery with Rev. Ray Baggot officiating on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 1 p.m.
Richard was a veteran. He retired from the Teamsters. He was a member of the Eagles, VFW and American Legion. He was a caring man and loved his family deeply.
He married Bernice Rice in September 1948. She preceded him in death on Oct. 28, 1984.
Richard is survived by four sons and six daughters: Rick Lively (Sherry) of Du Quoin, Ronnie Lively (Jill) of Du Quoin, George Lively of Tamaroa, Bruce Lively (Jamie) of Tamaroa, Janet Lively of Du Quoin, Debbie Lively (Jim) of Du Quoin, Brenda Townes (Bobby) of Du Quoin, Sherry Lively of Tamaroa, Susan Cox (Mike) of Springfield and Alicia Lively (Corky) of Du Quoin; two daughters-in-law, Margaret Lively of Du Quoin and Diane Lively of Tamaroa. Richard had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Richard is also survived by four sisters: Ruth, Eva, Mary and Hazel.
Richard was preceded in death by two sons, Steven Lively and Keith Alan Lively; one brother, George, and one sister, Helen; two grandchildren, Sheena Lively and NaTasha Lively.
A dinner will be held after the funeral services at Lively's Bar in Tamaroa.
