Shirley Buschschulte Ruby

Shirley Buschschulte Ruby, 76, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away at 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013.

She was born on Nov. 28, 1936 in Pinckneyville, Ill. to Edward Buschschulte and Dollie Bird. Shirley was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter: Christa (Jason) Hayes of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; two sons: James (Vickie) Ruby of Willisville, Ill. and Mike (Tammy) Ruby of Henderson, Nev.; six grandchildren: Dacia Ruby, Chris and Angela Ruby, Cody West, Jesse and Wyatt Marks; two great grandchildren: Caris Ruby, Canon Ruby and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Kenny, Rich and Willie.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the McDaniel Funeral Home, Sparta, with Rob Mathis officiating. Friends may call on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013 from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to SSM Hospice and Home Care Foundation.
