Terrence A. Lewis

Terrence A. Lewis, age 48, of Dallas, Tex., passed away on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 in Medical City Hospital, Dallas, Tex.

Terrence was born on Sept. 28, 1964 in Carbondale, Ill., a son to Mary L. Lee He spent many happy years with his longtime partner, Allen Wingo of Dallas, Tex. Terrence attended the baptist church in Dallas, Tex., was a talented actor and model and worked in the entertainment industry as a general manager for Qzar in the Dallas, Tex. area. He enjoyed collecting antiques and ran track at Du Quoin High School, where he remained a record holder for 14 years until it was broken by his younger brother. He also ran track at Parkland College, Champaign, Ill. He enjoyed tennis, running and playing chess.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Lee of Du Quoin, Ill.; six brothers and sisters, Rick Grigsby of Du Quoin, Ill., Curtis (Karolynne) Lewis of Columbus, Ohio, Timothy Lewis, Deborah Lewis of Murphysboro, Ill., Tracy (Sheri) Lee of Du Quoin, Ill. and Wendall Lee of Paducah, Ky.; nieces and nephews, Della and Tevin Lee, Desire and Demarr Lewis, Darius Johnson, LaDainian Lee and Brandon Rives; several great-nieces; great-nephews; and longtime partner, Allen Wingo of Dallas, Tex.

Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, Ill. on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Kent Eaton officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, Ill. on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
