Frances Yvonne Campanella

Frances Yvonne Campanella, 81, of Du Quoin, passed away at 8:27 p.m., Monday, Sept. 16, 2013 at the Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

She was a homemaker and worked at Petry's House of Fashion in Du Quoin for many years. She was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ in Du Quoin and sang in the church choir. She was also a member of the Friendship Club. Frances enjoyed gardening and cooking.

She was born on Jan. 20, 1932, at Vergennes, Ill., the daughter of William D. and Gladys G. (Nausley) Sullivan.

She married August A. Campanella on March 10, 1951 at Vergennes, Ill. and he survives.

She is survived by her husband - August of Du Quoin and daughter - Jane Doub and husband William of Kirkwood, Mo. Other survivors include many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and her loving caregiver - Lucretia Futrell of St. Louis, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers -Donald M. Sullivan and William D. Sullivan Jr. and nephew - Daniel Sullivan.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Dwayne Dollgener officiating.

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery at Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to the Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
