Grace Magdeline Randall

Grace Magdeline Randall, age 86, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013 at 11:36 p.m. in Coulterville Care Center, Coulterville, Ill.

Grace was born on May 9, 1927 in Pinckneyville, Ill., a daughter to James L. and Nellie Mae (Robbins) Flare. She was a homemaker and a waitress at various restaurants. She enjoyed playing cards, rummy, Yatzee, bingo and going fishing and dearly loved her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughters, Dixie Lee (Terry) Atteberry of Pinckneyville, Ill. and Addie Swallers of Pinckneyville, Ill.; her sister, Faye Ramsey of Pinckneyville, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Brian (Debbie) Bender of Pinckneyville, Ill., Brenda Bender of Carbondale, Ill., Deborah Longoria of Bay City, Tex., Thomas (Jodi) Medina of Pinckneyville, Ill., Angela (Marion) Presswood of Pinckneyville, Ill.; Johnnie Medina Jr. of Lake Jackson, Tex., Tracy Ellis of Pinckneyville, Ill. and Tim (Bonnie) Winkley of San Marcos, Tex.; several great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Roy Leo Swallers; her daughter, Nellie Jean Winkley; her brother, Charles Flare; and several brothers and sisters in infancy.

Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Randy Allison officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
