Du Quoin car break-in victims can claim stolen items

Du Quoin Chief of Police Jamie Ellermeyer said Monday police have identified a suspect in a string of recent vehicle burglaries along West Main, West Park and North Division Streets and have recovered items believed taken from those vehicles.

The suspect has not yet been identified. Your stolen items may be among the things that were recovered and you are asked to stop by the police department to claim them.
