Physician assistant Michael Poiter will return to REA Clinic

After having departed REA Clinic-Du Quoin earlier this year to work in the specialty field of urology, Physician Assistant, Michael Poiter, has made the decision that he is better suited to rural family medicine and caring for the patients of Christopher Rural Health Planning Corporation.

He will be returning to REA Clinic-Du Quoin, under the supervision of Dr. Benjamin Rathert and working alongside Dr. Patrick Riley and Heather Rice, PA-C.

Poiter makes his home in Du Quoin along with wife, Jennifer, and their three children. Michael is a 1995 graduate of Du Quoin High School and 2008 graduate of Southern Illinois University where he earned his certification as a physician assistant. In addition, Poiter holds a Doctor of Chiropractics degree obtained in 2002.

Michael will be back in the REA Clinic-Du Quoin facility and ready to see patients on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013. Appointments may be made by calling REA Clinic-Du Quoin at 618-542-8702.
