Betty R. Dolce
Betty R. Dolce, 80, of Willisville, passed away at 7:05 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013 at the Coulterville Care Center in Coulterville, Illinois.
Betty was born in Du Quoin, Ill. on July 30, 1933, the daughter of Charles H. and Myrtle M. Beard Siefert. She married Nicholas C. Dolce on Dec. 18, 1954 in Corinth, Mississippi. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2013. Betty was a retired Postal Clerk having worked in Willisville. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Willisville and the Postal Employees Union.
Betty is survived by one son, Nicholas J. (Mary) Dolce of Willisville; one daughter, Maria (Amer) Al-Eneiss of Carbondale; four grandchildren, Nicholas (Tracy) Dolce, Mario (Lisa) Dolce, Basil Al-Eneiss and Layla Al-Eneiss; two great grandchildren, Natalie and Noah Dolce; three sisters, Audrey Taylor of Du Quoin, Ilene Tregoning of Du Quoin and Janet Nevelle of Du Quoin; three brothers, Glen (Marilyn) Siefert of Canton, Ill., Don (Betty) Siefert of Du Quoin and Hershel (Eileen) Siefert of Du Quoin; one brother-in-law, Ignatius Dolce of Steeleville and two sisters-in-law, Angeline Alms of Willisville and Frances Rohlfing of Willisville.
Betty was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles N. Siefert and Vern Siefert; one sister, Margie Miluer and three infant siblings.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Willisville with Father Leo J. Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Old Du Quoin Cemetery, Du Quoin, Ill. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday with rosary being recited at 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Memorials may be given to Luke Hospice.
