Darren S. Hilt

Darren S. Hilt, 52, of Tamaroa, passed away at 11:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.

Darren had worked for over 20 years at Continental Tire in Mt. Vernon. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Sons of American Legion.

He was born June 5, 1961 at Du Quoin, Ill. the son of Charles A. and Betty L. (Weaver) Hilt.

Darren married Linda Rojek on Aug. 4, 1995 at Bloomingdale, Ill. and she survives.

He is survived by his wife of Tamaroa, two daughters- Theresa Rojek and Jayci Hilt both of Tamaroa, sister- Nova Clarry of Du Quoin, brother- Duane Hilt and wife Renetta of Du Quoin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Frank Hilt.

The family would like to thank all of his friends for always being there for him.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Burial will be in the Tamaroa Cemetery at Tamaroa.

Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
