Rocky N. Green

Rocky N. Green, 52, of Sullivan, passed away 10:40 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014 at Eastview Terrace, Sullivan.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 at New Beginnings Apostolic Church, Sullivan. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the church in Sullivan. Funeral services will also be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2014 at Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home in Herrin, Ill. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in Herrin, Ill. Burial will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, Ill. Memorials may be made the family in care of Lynette Green.

Rocky was born Sept. 1, 1961 in Hammond, Ind.; the son of William Doug Green and Mary (Lively) Craig and step-father Larry Craig. He married Lynette M. Tebbens on Sept. 14, 1996 in DeSoto, Ill.; she survives. Rocky was the Pastor at the New Beginnings Apostolic Church in Sullivan.

Rocky is survived by his mother, Mary Craig of Vergennes; wife, Lynette Green of Sullivan; sons, Kaleb Green of Ava, Tyler Green of Sullivan and Nathan Green of Sullivan; daughters, Jamie Green of Marion, Kelly Green of Marion, Sarah Green of Sullivan and Lacie Green of Sullivan; brothers, Ron Green, Don Green, Tony Green and Joe Green, all of Du Quoin. He is also survived by five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Doug Green, and step-father, Larry Craig.
