Du Quoin man froze to death in Linden Street storage building

Du Quoin police and the Perry County Coroner's office are investigating a cold weather death.

Perry County Coroner Paul Searby says preliminary autopsy results show Anthony Jones, 46, of Du Quoin, died of hypothermia.

Jones was found by a family member Tuesday inside a small storage building at a property on Linden Street.

Searby says toxicology reports are pending and could take several weeks.
