Eileen L. Lueker

Eileen L. Lueker, age 90, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 in Friendship Manor, Nashville, Ill.

Eileen was born on April 25, 1923 in Jamestown, Ill., a daughter to William A. and Elva M. (Dempsey) Lueker. She was a member of Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill., where she also served as the church clerk and taught Sunday school for many years. Eileen worked for the Garment Factory in Pinckneyville, Ill. and Sparta, Ill. and was a dedicated employee at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. for over 30 years.

Survivors include six nieces and nephews, Peggy Bost of Murphysboro, Ill., Sherry Margenthaler of Moline, Ill., Gloria Hayes of Cabot, Ark., Doug Lueker of Nashville, Ill., Paulette Morrison of Winnebago, Ill., Dana Epplin of Mt. Vernon, Ill., William "Bill" Lueker of Bristol, R.I. and Harold D. Lueker of Nashville, Tenn. and many other dear family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Harold, George and Paul Lueker; a sister, Erma L. Schoenberg; and two nieces, Sharon Lueker and Karla Long.

Funeral services will be held at Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Mark Lee officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday at Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
