Wilma Rosalie Schieler

Wilma Rosalie Schieler (Anheuser), 91, of Burleson, Tex., passed peacefully on Feb. 9, 2014 at the V.A. Hospice facility in Dallas, Tex.

Wilma, a coal miner's daughter, was born and raised in Du Quoin, Ill. During WW II she served in the U.S. Army (Women's Army Corps).

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings- Dorothy, Helen, Charles and Mary, her husband- George H. Schieler and daughter- Jo Ann.

She is survived by her two sons- Donald and George and daughter- Ella Mae. She adored her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Her enormous personality, wealth of selflessness and friendly smile will be sorely missed by her family and all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Research Foundation at Alzheimer's Association Desert Southwest Chapter 1028 E McDowell Road Phoenix, AZ 85006-2662.
