Orvell Lee Walker
Orvell Lee Walker, 67, of Herrin, passed away at 1:34 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2014 at the Kindred Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Orvell had been a limo driver for Jon Mcanelly at Jon's Limo Service, a job he enjoyed. He loved riding his Harley.
He was born Sept. 14, 1946 at Aurora, Ill., the son of Albert Leo and Phyllis (Glasco) Walker.
He is survived by four sons - Albert Walker and wife Jill of Maryville, Ill., Kevin Walker and wife Theresa of Murphysboro, Ill., Gary Walker and wife Megan of Venus, Tex. and Michael Walker and wife Pam of Venus, Tex., 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one brother - N.L. 'Bud' Walker and friend Linda of Goreville, two sisters - Louise Walker of Du Quoin and Lorrain Walker Rodusky of Menifee, Calif., step sister - Bonnie Lane Bernhardt of Marion, step brother - Randy Lane of Kentucky, his best friend - Harley, his cockatiel, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents - Albert Leo Walker and Phyllis (Glasco) Walker Ferguson.
Memorial services will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
