Vince Peradotta

Vince Peradotta, age 59, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014 in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, Carbondale, Ill.

Vince was born on Sept. 30, 1954 in Pinckneyville, Ill., a son to Carl and Virginia (Chandler) Peradotta. In 1975, he married Marilyn Sue Bathon in St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Todds Mill, Ill. and they divorced in 1995. Vince was a machinist for Perry Ridge Landfill and was a retired coal miner. He was a member of the U.M.W.A., the Pinckneyville Moose and the Pinckneyville Eagles. He enjoyed fishing, hunting for mushrooms and deer hunting.

Survivors include three children, Angie (Neil) Brockmann of Westlake, Ohio, Amy Peradotta (Jeff Hill) of Portland, Ore. and Gino Peradotta of Pinckneyville, Ill.; two grandchildren, Miles Hill and Olivia Brockmann; parents, Carl and Virginia Peradotta; beloved companion, Cindy Hogan of Pinckneyville, Ill.; a brother, Sam Peradotta of Pinckneyville, Ill.; a sister, Reita Deering of Dubois, Ill.; step-children, Autum (Tom) Hancock, Summer (Jeff) Clough and Cole (Amanda) Lawrence; five step grandchildren, Aaron Hancock, Nathan Hancock, Mason Clough, Logan Clough and Kannyn Clough; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a brother-in-law, Terry Deering.

Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Raymond Baggott officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Illinois.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
