Real estate tax bills to go into the mail June 20

"Everyone has worked very hard this year and we are ready for 2013 payable 2014 real estate taxes to be mailed," said Perry County Treasurer Bill Taylor Tuesday.

"Overall we are a week ahead of last year.," Taylor said. The bills will be in the mail on Friday June 20. The first installment will be due July 25, 2014 and the second installment will be due Aug. 29, 2014. Taxes can be paid by mail, at the treasurer's office in the government building, by credit card by following the instructions on the tax bill or at most local banks.
