Fay Key

Fay Key, 91, of Coello, passed away at 2:44 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at her residence.

Fay had been a homemaker and had worked at Allen Industries for 17 years. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She was born Oct. 29, 1922 at Christopher, Ill., the daughter of Tom and Elizabeth (Morris) Williams.

She married Albert G. Key on Aug, 4, 1936 at Christopher, Ill. and he preceded her in death on March 29, 1984.

She is survived by two daughters - Shela Smith of Coello and Brenda Wilson and husband Larry of Christopher, nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son - James G. Key, one daughter - Barbara Fay Key, two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Pastor Marvelene Cole, Pastor Tom Conner and Pastor Doug Carpenter officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Mulkeytown, Ill.
