Glee Kalb

Glee (Draves) Kalb, age 90, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014 at 5:53 p.m. in Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, Ill.

Glee was born on July 27, 1924 in East St. Louis, Ill., a daughter to Edward and Anna (Gray) Draves. On Feb. 6, 1943, she married Charles Lester Kalb in Perryville, Mo. and he preceded her in death July 5, 1979. Glee was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters, Judy (Don) Keller, Carol (Charlie) Hagene and Tammy (Greg) Kellerman, all of Pinckneyville, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Jeff (Jill) Keller, Heath Hagene, Shelly Keller (Rick Ruby), Kirk (Christy) Hagene, Nikki (Gene) Jewell, Brittany (Mike) Goldman and Derek Kellerman; five great-grandchildren, Justin Keller, Callie Hagene, Clayton and Maddison Hagene and Nathan Goldman; and a brother, Robert (Sharon) Draves of Rockwood, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Sandra Kalb; two brothers, Arnold and Don Draves and a sister, Aileen Clausen.

Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Illinois.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
