Bonnie M. Hampsey

Bonnie M. Hampsey, 71, of Du Quoin, passed away at 6:55 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014 at her residence.

Bonnie had worked for over 27 years at MCA. She was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Du Quoin.

She was born May 18, 1943, at Rice, Ill., the daughter of Pete and Viola (Ruffino) Hutchings.

She married John L. Hampsey on June 27, 1974 at Paducah, Ky. and he survives.

She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter - Shana Hampsey and two brothers - James Hutchings and Buck Hutchings.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Bro. Bill Hamburger officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
