Beverly Jo Kilpatrick

Beverly Jo Kilpatrick, age 81, of Du Quoin, Ill., passed away on Monday, Nov. 24, 2014 at 1:33 p.m. in Marshall Browning Hospital, Du Quoin, Ill.

Beverly was born on Jan. 3, 1933 in Mackie, Ind., a daughter to Garrett and Emma (Adler) Kilpatrick. She was a homemaker for many years and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Du Quoin, Ill. Beverly enjoyed embroidery, crafts and was a huge Elvis Presley fan. She especially loved babysitting her nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her nephews and nieces, Gary, Sandy, Karen and Mary Ellen Kilpatrick of Michigan, Harry Huite of Du Quoin, Ill. and Bob Huite of Aurora, Ill.; great-nephews, Patrick Lamczik of Du Quoin, Ill., Dennis C. Lamczik of Washington, DC and Ryan (fiancé Shelby Happold) Farthing of Tamaroa, Ill.; great-nieces, Robin (James) Jarvis of Du Quoin, Ill., Rebecca (Mitch Harsy) Lamczik of Vergennes, Ill. and Callie Lamczik of Pinckneyville, Ill. and numerous great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Ruth Kilpatrick; one brother, Louie Kilpatrick, and one special niece, Sue Lamczik.

A graveside service will be held in Sunset Memorial Park, Du Quoin, Ill. on Friday, Nov. 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Joe Wagner officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Du Quoin, Ill.

Memorial donations may be made to the Perry County Humane Society.
