Nancy L. Tipper

Nancy L. Tipper, age 65, of Mount Vernon, Ill., formerly of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014 at 1:09 p.m. in Crossroads Community Hospital, Mount Vernon, Ill.

Nancy was born on Jan. 15, 1949 in Du Quoin, Ill., a daughter to Arnold and Minnie (Williams) Moore. Nancy was first married to Frank Fortenberry and then later to Floyd Tipper. She was a member of Denmark Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include one brother, Leon (Donna) Moore of Pinckneyville, Ill., Brenda Cox of Rockford, Ill. and Bernice (Max) Mathis of Pinckneyville, Ill. and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Homer Lee Moore and Ronald Dale Moore and one sister, Lavon Owen.

Graveside services will be held at Galum Presbyterian Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Friday, Nov. 28, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Kenneth Owen officiating. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Denmark Baptist Church or Galum Presbyterian Cemetery Association.
