Juanita May Risley

Juanita May Risley, 79, of Chicago, formerly of Du Quoin, passed away at 3:10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014 at Manor Care in Northbrook, Ill.

Juanita had been a homemaker and sales clerk. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was born Dec. 7, 1935 in Du Quoin, Ill., the daughter of James A. and Louise (Rizzardi) Loucks.

She married Carl R. Risley on Oct. 7, 1951 and he preceded her in death on Aug. 31, 1995.

She is survived by five children - Connie Sue Risley of Rockford, Ill., Bonnie Risley of Glenview, Ill., Kathy Risley of Pinckneyville, Billie Risley and wife Jeanette of Elmwood Park, Ill. and Vicki Ruff and husband John of Algonquin, Ill., grandchildren - Joe, Bob, Jill, Tiffany, Billie, Brian, Jennifer, Christine, Matthew, Jessica, Michael and Jacob, siblings - George Loucks, Linda Loucks, Sheryl Loucks, Annabelle Minton, Mary L. Davis, Jack E. Loucks, Lois J. Polley and Raymond Gant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband - Carl, one daughter - Carla J. Risley, one sister - Viola M. Gant and two brothers - Jimmy R. Loucks and Ted Loucks.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Du Quoin.
