Mildred Louise Bauersachs

Mildred Louise Bauersachs, age 75, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015 at 2:42 a.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Mildred was born on Feb. 16, 1939 in Ava, Ill., a daughter to Walter and Wilma (Modglin) Cottom. On July 28, 1961, she married Delbert P. Bauersachs in Pinckneyville, Ill. and he survives. Mildred was a member of the Second Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill., where she was saved and baptized in the summer of 1961. She enjoyed working on the farm with her husband, driving the Kubota with her beloved dog Suzie and going to McDonalds and watching traffic on the square. She enjoyed listening to country music and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Doug (Theresa) Bauersachs and Dwayne (Jane) Bauersachs; daughter, Diane (Dennis) Bruns, all of Pinckneyville, Ill.; six grandchildren, Nicholas and Nathan Bauersachs, Jennifer and Justin Bauersachs and Danielle and Denise Bruns, all of Pinckneyville, Ill.; two brothers, Lavern (Lorene) Cottom and Leroy (Beth) Cottom, all of Ava, Ill.; two sisters, Delores (Glen) Bauersachs of Campbell Hill, Ill. and Margery (Larry) Davis of Ava, Ill. and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at Winkle Baptist Church, Winkle, Ill., on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends may call at Winkle Baptist Church, Winkle, Ill. on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 8:00 p.m. until 10:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to Winkle Baptist Church or Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.
