WRESTLING: PCHS's Jones, Eggemeyer, Murphy medal at Litchfield

Pinckneyville placed 12th of the 18 teams at this past weekend's Rich Lovellette Panther Tournament in Litchfield with 56 total points, placing three wrestlers in the top six of their individual weight classes.

Richard Jones (182 lbs.) was the top finisher for PCHS, coming in second. Tyler Eggemeyer (138 lbs.) was fifth and Grant Murphy (152 lbs.) was sixth.

The Panthers will host Mater Dei and Sparta for "Senior Night" at Pinckneyville this Wednesday before wrestling Regionals begin on Saturday.
