Allen John Arnold

Allen John Arnold, age 51, of Tamaroa, Ill., passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 12:30 a.m. in Marshall Browning Hospital, Du Quoin, Ill.

Allen was born on May 21, 1963 in St. Louis, Mo., a son to Robert I. and Sandra L. (Williams) Arnold. On May 19, 2010, he married Stephanie N. Edwards in Las Vegas, Nev. and she survives. Allen was an iron worker for 20 years and was a member of Local #392. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Arnold of Tamaroa, Ill.; one son, Allen Arnold of Tamaroa, Ill.; one daughter, Meghann (Brandon) Lawrence of Tamaroa, Ill.; mother and step-father, Sandra (Tom) Johnson of Troy, Mo.; four grandchildren, Landyn, Laney, Aidyn, Ian and Leah on the way: five brothers, Bob Arnold of Troy, Mo., Mark Arnold of St. Louis, Mo., David Arnold (Tammy Pruitt) of Desoto, Mo., Mike (Diane) Arnold of Terra Haute, Ind. and Glen (Kelley) Johnson of Troy, Mo.; two step-children, Sierra Haslett and Seth Haslett, both of Ava, Ill. and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by one son, Dustin Arnold.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, Ill. on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Allen's wishes were to be cremated and no funeral service will be held.
