Beer, bread & bikes Saturday in Du Quoin

Abby Ancell and Luke Davison of the St. Nicholas Brewing Co. and Gene Krone and Scott Latta of Baked by Gene are hosting a wonderfully unique event in Du Quoin this Saturday--Beer Bread & Bikes.

Celebrate two local businesses as they partner to bring fresh and locally sourced items to Du Quoin. The St. Nicholas Brewing Co. is now serving many delicious items from Baked by Gene and that new business relationship will be celebrated this Saturday.

At 10 a.m., there will be a 10-mile family bike ride leaving from Baked by Gene on North Division Street in downtown Du Quoin. A longer challenge ride is also available. The ride ends at the St. Nicholas Brewing Co. restaurant on South Oak Street. From 1-4 p.m. riders and friends will be entertained by Nate Staub.

There will be a limited release small batch beer available along with a collaboration of food specials all day.
