Obituary for Betty J. Bierman

Betty J. Bierman, 88, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, IL.

She was born to the late Clarence and Jessie (nee: Jones) Eggemeyer on October 6, 1926 in Chester, IL.

She married Raymond M. Bierman on May 25, 1949 in Jasper, IN. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1988.

Betty was a secretary and lab worker at Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Bremen, IL.

Survivors include two sisters: Helen Bierman, Chester, IL, and Yvonne (Harold) Holman Cannon Falls, MN; three nieces: Rebecca Niblock, Bambi (Bob) Crowley, and Tiffany Holman. She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband - Raymond Bierman, one brother - Roger O. Eggemeyer, and one sister - Erna Eggemeyer.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at St. John Lutheran Church, Bremen, Illinois with Rev. Carla Rush officiating. Interment was in St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Bremen.

Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church, Bremen, Illinois or the Shriners.
