Obituary for Donna Alms

Donna J. Alms, 65, of Perryville, MO, passed away at 6:15 a.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO.

She was born to the late Donald and Beverly (nee: Bierman) Frazer on January 8, 1950 in Red Bud, IL.

She married Jeff Alms on March 21, 1969 in Chester, IL. He survives.

Donna worked at Menard Correctional Center. She was a member of Perryville United Methodist Church in Perryville, MO and the Perry County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff Alms of Perryville, MO; one daughter, Gina Alms (Joseph) Vitale of Fredericksburg, VA; one brother, Brian Frazer of Steeleville, IL; and two grandchildren: Alex Vitale and Tyler Vitale.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bruce Frazer.

A Funeral Service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, Illinois with Rev. David Duncan officiating. Interment was in the Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville, Illinois.

Memorials may be given to the Perryville United Methodist Church.
