Obituary for Wilma Eggemeyer Jung
WILMA EGGEMEYER JUNG, 89, of Ellis Grove, Illinois, passed away at 12:38 pm, Saturday, April 25, 2015 at her residence.
She was born to the late Adolph and Mary (nee Krantz) Eggemeyer on November 25, 1925 in Walsh, Illinois.
She married Robert H. Jung on October 20, 1945 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellis Grove, Illinois; he preceded her in death on June 6, 1993.
Wilma and her husband, Robert, owned and operated Jungs AG Grocery Market in Ellis Grove for 30 years and then the Jungs Meat Market in Ellis Grove for 10 years.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellis Grove; where she also was a member of the Altar Sodality and sang in the choir.
Wilma was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Wilma lit up a room with her spunk and personality. Her compassion for others, her sense of humor, and her strength in spirit will be dearly missed by all.
Survivors include one daughter Rhonda (Sonny) Heck of Ellis Grove, IL; six grandchildren Kathy (Joe) Brandon, Scott (Kyra) Heck, Jennifer (Joe) Gillison, Bridget Heck, Christopher Heck, Bethany Heck; seven great grandchildren Joseph, Holly and Ellie Brandon, Jake and Lydia Heck, Samuel and Owen Gillison; many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter - Carolyn Jean Jung, one great granddaughter - Josephine Gillison and nine brothers and sisters - Bernard Eggemeyer, Liewald (Lydie) Eggemyer, Hubert (Hulda) Eggemeyer, Adolph (Wilma) Eggemeyer Jr., Laura (George) Brelig, Mayme (Arnie) Winkleman, Elmer Eggemeyer, Theodore (Irene) Eggemeyer and Naomie Eggemeyer
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 30, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Ellis Grove, Illinois with Father Ben Stern officiating. Interment will follow in the Ellis Grove City Cemetery, Ellis Grove, Illinois.
Visitation will take place on Thursday from 8:00 am - 11:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Ellis Grove, Illinois.
