Ann G. Mohr

Ann G. Mohr, 73, of Cutler, passed away at 5:59 P.M., Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Ann had been a secretary at the Perry County Extension Office. She was a member of the St. Bruno Catholic Church in Pinckneyville. She was a member of the St. Bruno Cemetery Committee, St. Bruno Parish Council and St. Bruno Quilters. Ann was a graduate of VTI at Southern Illinois. She had been a 4-H Leader for many years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, quilting, sewing and gardening. Ann also enjoyed spending time traveling, working on the farm with her husband and spending time with her family.

She was born November 26, 1941 at Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Wayne and Gertrude (Epplin) Rheinecker.

She married Robert E. Mohr on May 4, 1964 at the St. Bruno Catholic Church in Pinckneyville and he survives.

She is survived by her husband of Cutler, one daughter - Danette Ann Mohr-Harbison of Du Quoin, one grandson - Derek Robert Mohr of Du Quoin, one great granddaughter - Mayzlie Ann Mohr of Du Quoin, one sister - Alene Klingenberg and husband Waldo of Nashville, IL, and one sister-in-law - Linda Roberson of Nashville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother - Michael Rheinecker and nephew and Godchild - Steve Rheinecker.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 13, 2015 at the St. Bruno Catholic Church in Pinckneyville with Fr. Richard Mohr officiating.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 P.M., Sunday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Rosary will be prayed at 9:00 A.M., Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the St. Bruno Cemetery at Pinckneyville.

Friends may make memorials to the St. Bruno Roof Fund or Masses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
