Marcella Bronke
Mrs. Marcella Bronke of Tamaroa, IL departed this life at the Pinckneyville Hospital in Pinckneyville, IL on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 5:15 A.M. She had attained the age of 82 years, 5 months and 10 days.
Mrs. Bronke was born on January 2, 1933 in Nashville, IL the daughter of Anthony and Gertrude (Bochantin) Lamczyk. She was united in marriage to Theodore Bronke on April 30, 1949 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville and he survives her passing.
Marcella was a homemaker and also worked side by side with her husband on the farm. She was a member of the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Todds Mill, IL, where she was involved with the Catholic Daughters. Marcella enjoyed canning, fishing, quilting and she especially loved gardening.
Left to mourn her passing is her husband, Theodore Bronke of Tamaroa, IL; seven children, Donna Mattis of Buffalo Grove, IL, Rosemary Gogolek and her husband Ralph of DuBois, IL, David Bronke and wife Bernadette, Robert Bronke and wife Linda, Marlene Loucks all of Tamaroa, IL, Nancy Bronke of Fairview Heights, IL and Charles Bronke of Tamaroa, IL; a brother, James Lamczyk and wife Brenda of Mulkeytown, IL; three sister, Audrey Mueller and wife Ron of Chesterfield, MO, MaryJane Mozelewski of Nashville, IL and Carolyn Hiller and her husband Sam of Tamaroa, IL; a sister-in-law, Barbara Lamczyk of Scheller, IL; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Arlene Kania and a brother, Ronald Lamczyk.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Todds Mill, IL on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 10 A.M. with Fr. Bernard Goedde officiating and with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Todds Mill, IL on Monday, June 15, 2015, from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Tuesday from 9 A.M. till the service hour.
A wake service will be held at the church on Monday at 7:30 P.M.
Should friends desire, mass offerings or memorials may be made to the St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery fund or the Celtic Hospice and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, IL, in charge of arrangements.
