Timothy G. Mabrey

Timothy G. Mabrey, 53, of Du Quoin, passed away at 5:36 P.M., Thursday, July 16, 2015 at his residence.

Tim had worked for the Illinois Department of Corrections at Du Quoin IIP. He was of the Christian faith. Tim was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed power lifting and fishing.

He was born November 28, 1961 at Corpus Christi, TX, the son of James Ashby and Beverly (Prince) Mabrey.

He is survived by one daughter - Angelina Mabrey of Du Quoin, two sons - Timothy L. Mabrey and wife Mahaylah of Ft. Leonard Wood, MO and Noah R. Mabrey of Du Quoin, his father - James Ashby of Oklahoma, one brother - Steven Mabrey of Wisconsin and his german shepherd - Princess.

He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother - Tony Mabrey.

Memorials services will be at 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with family and friends conducting the service.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M., Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
