Obituary for Eileen Winter

<span>EILEEN M. WINTER, 92, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 1:40 a.m., Wednesday, August 26, at her residence.</span>

<span>She was born to the late Elmer and Sylvia (nee Frazier) Mueller on July 18, 1923 in St. Louis, Mo.</span>

<span>She married Casper C. Winter on June 15, 1960 in St. Louis, Mo.; he preceded her in death on October 21, 1985.</span>

<span>She was a homemaker.</span>

<span>She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Chester Library Reading Club, Red Hat's Society, LWML, Woman's Club, Randolph County Historical Society and she was Bible Study leader at the church.</span>

<span>Survivors include three children - Brian Schwartz London, England, David (Zulema) Schwartz O'Fallon, Cindy Walker Pasadena, Texas; one step-aughter Charlene Winter, Texas; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.</span>

<span>Preceded in death by her parents, husband - Casper, one daughter and son-in-law - Andrea and Andy Jones and one brother - Paul Mueller.</span><span><br class="kix-line-break" /></span><span>Memorial Service: 2 p.m., Sunday, August 30 at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester with Rev. Tim Landskroener officiating.</span>

<span>Inurnment to be held at a later date at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Chester, Illinois. Visitation Sunday - 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, Chester.</span>
