Obituary for Onedia Eggemeyer

<span>STEELEVILLE, Onedia Eggemeyer, 94, of Steeleville, passed away at 2:10 PM Monday, August 24, 2015, at Memorial Hospital of Chester in Chester, Illinois.</span>

<span>She was born February 20, 1921 in Walsh, Illinois, the daughter of Henry and Dora (Beckman) Lindwedel.</span>

<span>Onedia married Walter A. Eggemeyer on November 26, 1944 at Walsh, Illinois. He passed away on August 18, 1999.</span>

<span>Onedia was a homemaker. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Steeleville and a member of the Amadeus Sunday School Class at Steeleville Baptist Church.</span>

<span>She is survived by her son: Danny (Kathy) Eggemeyer, Steeleville; daughters: Jenith (Gary) Henson, Steeleville and Marilyn (Kenneth) Knop, Campbell Hill; son-in-law: Charles Heuman, Walsh; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.</span>

<span>Onedia is preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Kyle Knop, one daughter, Donna Heuman, one brother and three sisters.</span>

<span>Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Steeleville Baptist Church in Steeleville with Rev. Dr. Scott Foshie and Rev. S. Blake Duncan officiating.</span>

<span>Burial will follow at Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Steeleville Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call on Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and then from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the church.</span>
