Felicita Kellerman
Felicita Kellerman, age 95, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 9:15 p.m. in Pinckneyville Nursing Rehabilitation Center, Pinckneyville, IL.
Felicita was born on July 10, 1920 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to William and Linda (Dal Santo) Fontana. On May 4, 1945, she married James H. "Jim" Kellerman in St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL and he preceded her in death on January 29, 1992. She attended St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL and St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Todds Mill, IL, was very active in her church and was a charter member of the Catholic Daughters. Felicita was also a member of Gold Plate and R.S.V.P. (Retired Senior Volunteer Program). Over the years, she had worked in several grocery stores in Pinckneyville, volunteered as a 4-H leader, loved quilting at church and in her home and crocheting. Felicita never met a stranger, was always on the go and like to be around people.
Survivors include her son, Tim (Dana) Kellerman of Oakdale, IL; two daughters, Etta (Dan) Fann of Tamaroa, IL and Marge Francois of Waterloo, IL; a daughter-in-law, Ruth Kellerman of Nashville, IL; ten grandchildren, Mark (Emily) Kellerman, Andrea Kellerman, Melanie Steiling, Jay Francois, Erin (Adam) Prest, Todd Fann, Dustin (Brooke) Renner, Jaqueline Kellerman, Ashley Kellerman, and Kyle Kellerman; two great-grandchildren, T.J. Steiling and Tristan Steiling; two sisters-in-law, Sally Fontana of DuQuoin, IL and Rose Kellerman of St. Louis, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Steve Kellerman; a son-in-law, Mike Francois; two brothers, Albert Fontana and Val Fontana; four sisters, Mabel Chwasczinski, Marie LaRowe, Pauline Phillips and Elizabeth Johnson.
Funeral mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Todds Mill, IL on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Bernard Goedde officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery, Todds Mill, IL.
Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. The rosary will be recited Friday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Bruno Catholic School, Pinckneyville, IL.
