Du Quoin Defeats Anna-Jonesboro 47-43

Caleb Vogel, Jacob Wright and Braden Heape all scored in double figures Saturday night as Du Quoin defeated Anna-Jonesboro.

The final score was 47-43 as the Indians to 6-21 and 2-7.

A-J record's fall to 15-13 and 3-6.

Vogel had 14 points to lead Du Quoin. Wright added 13 and Heape threw in 10 points .

Dakota Earnhart had a game high 15 points for A-J. Ryann Stark added 10.

In a back and forth affair, A-J led 8-5 as first quarter ended.

Du Quoin then led 16-12 by half time as Wright and Vogel connected from long range.

In the third quarter, A-J threatened to pull away.

However, the Indians would not quit.

Wright and Heape were six-for-six at the foul line as Du Quoin pulled away down the stretch.

Seniors Jacob Wright, Brock Bullar. Cole Hopkins, Trace Klein, Chad Heatherly, Hunter Behm, Ryne O'Rourke and Kuhnert were honored prior to the game as part of Senior Night.
