Weir, Schwartz named all-conference

<span>The Black Diamond Conference recently released its all-conference selections to its West and East divisions, with Chester senior Jason Schwartz named captain of the West Division.</span>

<span>Schwartz earned a first-team nod, while junior Jack Weir earned a second team selection.</span>

<span>The Yellow Jackets finished 20-9 and 8-2 in the BDW last season, falling to Trico, 68-45, in the semifinals of the Class 2A Sparta Regional.</span>

<span>Chester could return four starters for the 2016-17 season.</span>
