Orella arrested for DUI

<span>A 36-year-old Sparta man was arrested for driving under the influence after a traffic crash on Schuline Road on March 30.</span>

<span>According to the Illinois State Police, William J. Orella was driving a 2006 Ford F-150 westbound on Schuline Road west of Zion Church Road.</span>

<span>"The vehicle was reported as all over the road by a witness that was following," said ISP Trooper Christopher "Joey" Watson. "The vehicle left the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, crossed the eastbound lane and overturned in the left ditch.</span>

<span>"He was in the backseat whenever the witness found him."</span>

<span>Watson said Orella suffered no injuries in the accident, which was reported at 4:52 p.m. Orella was cited for DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane useage and no seat belt.</span>

<span>He was transported to Randolph County Jail, where he was released from on March 31 after posting a $100 bond, plus his driver's license.</span>
