Pinckneyville Prom Friday 7-11 p.m. in Pinckneyville HS auxiliary gym

Pinckneyville Community High School will hold its "Dare to Dream" Prom Friday, April 22 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the Auxiliary Gym.

Promenade will begin at 6 p.m. hosted by the Junior Class.

The public is invited to attend, and a $2.00 per person donation at the door helps to jump-start the fund-raising for this year's sophomores to host next year's Prom.

Coronation is at 8 p.m. Post Prom occurs after a quick transition of the Gym from the dance to the various activities that make up the all-night event: snacks and drinks, a hypnotist show, laser tag, zorb ball, video games, movies, glow-in-the-dark volleyball, prize give-aways, and breakfast.

Seniors voted by their class to be the queen candidates are Sophia Keith, Lindsey Taylor, Taylor Smith, Taylor Geary, Ellie Carlson, Haley Johnston.

King candidates are Tyler Schwarz, Clayton Houghland, Sam Simpson, Hayden Carter, Caulden Lazenby, Jackson Brand.

The Pinckneyville Community High School baccalaureate is Sunday, May 8 at 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Pinckneyville.

Academic Awards Night is Saturday, May 14 2016 in Thomas Gymnasium at the Pinckneyville High School.

Commencement is Sunday, May 15 at 2 p.m. in Thomas Gymnasium at the Pinckneyville High School.
