Five teenagers injured in Schuline Road wreck
<p dir="ltr"><span>Five teenagers, four from Sparta and one from Evansville, were injured in a single-vehicle accident late Saturday night.</span>
<p dir="ltr"><span>According to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office report, a 1997 Ford Mustang - driven by 16-year-old Trevor Heinemeyer of Sparta - was traveling westbound on Schuline Road near Blinds Hollow Road when the vehicle pulled toward the shoulder.</span>
<p dir="ltr"><span>Heinemeyer overcorrected and ran off the roadway, causing the Mustang to overturn several times, eventually coming to rest on its side.</span>
<p dir="ltr"><span>Heinemeyer and the four passengers in the Mustang - 16-year-old Cody Shannon (of Evansville), 15-year-old Taylor Cash (of Sparta), 15-year-old Teodoro Barda (of Sparta) and 16-year-old Seth Berry (of Sparta) - were all transported to Sparta Community Hospital with unspecified injuries.</span>
<p dir="ltr"><span>Heinemeyer was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and violation of graduated driver.</span>
<p dir="ltr"><span>The accident was reported at 11:25 p.m. with Deputy Noah Wunderlich responding.</span>
<p dir="ltr"><span>The Herald Tribune has inquired with the hospital on the status of the teenagers and will have more details as they become available.</span>
