Minor injuries in Route 150 crash

<p dir="ltr"><span>Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle traffic crash in the 2800 block of State Route 150 on Tuesday morning.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>According to the Chester Police Department's accident report, a 2007 Lincoln SUV - driven by 66-year-old Claire Morris of Perryville, Mo. - was stopped in the eastbound lane while waiting for traffic to clear in order to complete a left turn.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>The SUV was then rear-ended by a 2012 Chevy Cruze driven by 42-year-old Stephanie Kahmke of Chester.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>Kahmke reported to law enforcement that she did not notice the stopped vehicle in time and was unable to avoid striking the SUV.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>MedStar Ambulance was called to the scene to tend to minor injuries sustained by Morris. Kahmke was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>The accident was reported at 11:56 a.m.</span>
