Obituary for Paul Haberman
CHESTER -- Paul Haberman, 87, of Sedgewickville, Mo., formerly of Chester, Ill., passed away at 7:55 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at Independence Care Center in Perryville.
He was born April 9, 1929 in Steeleville, the son of Richard and Bertha (Ebers) Haberman. Paul married Mildred Ruebke on November 25, 1950 in Steeleville.
Paul was a retired foreman for Spartan Light Metals. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bremen and was also a member of various church organizations.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Haberman, Sedgewickville, Mo.; Children - Willard (Crystal) Haberman, Sedgewickville, Mo., and Linda Rellegert, Perryville, Mo.; Grandson Steven Rellegert and several nieces and nephews.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, sister Lavern Dierks and brother Harold Haberman.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 3, at 11 a.m. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Edwin A. Reuter officiating.
A private interment will follow at a later date in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Bremen. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, on Thursday, where friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 7:30 a.m. until hour of service.
Memorials may be made to White Water Presbyterian Church in Sedgewickville, Mo.
