Two arrested with stolen motorcycles

<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Two Missouri men were arrested late last week after Pinckneyville Police found them both allegedly riding stolen motorcycles, and one of them carrying a loaded handgun.<br /> Pinckneyville Police Chief John Griffin says officers arrested Timothy Jackson, 25, of St. Louis; and Stephen Brasfield, 30, of Ballwin, Mo., following a traffic stop March 29 for speeding.<br /> After further investigation, Jackson was arrested on charges of driving on a suspended license and possession of a stolen motorcycle. He also was charged with unlawful use of a weapon after police found he allegedly was carrying a Glock .40 handgun with one round in the chamber and an extended magazine loaded with 22 rounds and two fully loaded extra magazines in a shoulder holster.<br /> Brasfield left the traffic stop but was later stopped by a Perry County deputy. He was also arrested for driving on a suspended license. After further investigation, police were able to determine that Brasfield also was in possession of a stolen motorcycle.<br /> Both Jackson and Brasfield were incarcerated at the Perry County Jail.</span></span>
